I really dislike it when people tell me writing isn’t an art

This is gonna be a rant

I really dislike it when people say writing isn’t an art or if they do they say its not “real” art because you can’t hang it on a wall and look at it.

Well sorry its an art that actually takes some brain power to appreciate. Writing is not only a “real” art it is the purest art and in my mind is higher than all others. Why? because it was the first art. Writing is language in a physical form. Language came before anything else. Before, photoshop, instagram, cameras, drawing, painting, dadaism, van gogh, sculpture, pottery, music, architecture, everything. When our ancestors came together, out of the forest in the first civilizations they were not silent. They were conversing and planning and creating. With language. And it is the most beautiful thing in the world. because it starts as a word. But then that word grows and changes and is altered until it is something entirely new. A sentence! a parapragh! hell even a brand new definition. And it can always mean something to someone, and expand beyond what the author originally intended until it is bigger than ever imaginable. So do not tell me writing is not an art because it started art.

It is the original art hipster.

SO me and my friend are going to try to write a book of poems and short stories

i would do poems he would do stories cause we are better at each respectively (im poems)

Why do gay couples want to get married anyway? They can still be in a loving, committed relationship without destroying our religions values and traditional institutions.

It’s a very selfish thing to do.

Why do heterosexual couples want to get married?

To start a family.

Getting married is not just about starting a family. That might be your personal or religious view on it but that doesn’t mean that everyone in the country has to adhere to your opinion especially because couples (both gay and straight) have been pairing off since before religion was invented. in most cases they want the ability to get married so they can the same rights as a hetero married couple.

What are they teaching you in these schools? Do you seriously not know what root words are?

Except English is a Germanic Language which means it comes from Germanic ( not to be confused with German) and is not actually related to Latin except for the fact that they are both decedents of Proto-Indo-European. there are lots of adopted words from spanish and french and other romance languages which come from Latin
